Gold medal for Penguin games
At the top of your screen is an image of a gold medal, when you put your mouse over it, it will change from black and white to colour.
A Penguin Games Sign will appear with a list of the three games that you will need to complete. These include:
- The Marathon
- 3 Lap Race Event.
- Freestyle swim

I decided to leave the Marathon till last and began will the Three Lap Race which is located at the Iceberg.
When you get to the iceberg you will need to stand in front of the starting place.
Just in front of the starting point is a small screen that will begin a count down when you are in the starting position.
It will count down from 3 and you can start when it says GO.
Just behind the starting point is a black screen that will start a count of the Laps as you make them.
On GO follow the racetrack and make sure that the three lamps on the side of the track light up when you pass, if they don’t go back and pass by them again.

Sometimes the lights just don’t turn on.
After a lot of attempts I gave up and came back later to finish the race.
When I came back later during the same session, I restarted the race and all the lights that I had already passed were still lite up and when I passed the light I could light before, this time it worked and I went on to the next lap.
Lap 2
Each time you complete a lap the black sign will show the lap your on and the lights will turn off until you pass them again.
Lap 3
When you finish your final lap the black screen will display the word “WINNER”.

Your Penguin Games Sign will now display that you have completed this race. Click on the continue sign to continue onto the next race, I picked the Freestyle Swim.

The Freestyle Swim race is located at the Underground Pool. I always get to the Underground Pool from the Plaza. There is a round lid like thing on the ground in frount of the Pet Shop window. This is a secret entrance to the Underground Pool, just walk up to it and click on the circle lid and it will open and transport you to the Underground Pool.

When you get to the Underground Pool you will need to stand at the starting place.
The starting screen is next to the lifesavers chair. when you are in place the starting screen will count down form three and you can start the race when it displays “GO”.
Freestyle Swimming Event - Starting Point
All you need to do is walk across the length of the pool and when you reach the end correctly the black screen located over the Underground Pools windows, will display the name of the lap that you have just completed. You then turn around and walk back to the other end of the pool.

The 4th length of the pool in the Freestyle Swimming Event.
The 5th length of the pool in the Freestyle Swimming Event.
When you complete the final lap the black screen located over the Underground Pools windows, will display the word, “WINNER”. Time for a Happy Dance…lol

Your Penguin Games Sign will now display that you have completed this race. Click on the continue sign to continue onto the next race, the dreaded Marathon.

It was finally time to complete the Marathon. The starting point for this is at the Ski Village.

When you get to the Ski Village you will need to stand at the starting place.
The starting screen is just in front of the Starting Sign. When you are in place the starting screen will count down form three and you can start the race when it displays “GO”.

On GO follow the racetrack and make sure that the lamps along the side of the track light up when you pass, if they don’t go back and pass by them again, until they light up.

Route Four for the Marathon race at the Town.
Route five for the Marathon race at the Snow Fort.
Everything was going well until I got to route six at the Plaza where I once again could not get the first light to turn one, I tried very hard to make it come on by walking back and forth in front and around it, no change, I went back to the previous route and came back to route 6 but the light would not change. I even restarted the marathon on three more occasions but I still have not been able to get that light to turn on.

Even though I was unable to light my lamps I went on to complete the course so I can show you the remainder of the marathon course.

As you can see the Marathon ends at the Cove. I hope I have helped a bit and I will try to complete the marathon again and when I do I will update the page to show the results.
